Chocolatada's

Chocolatada's are a big tradition and they take place just about everywhere. These photos are from a Chocolatada that we had for the kids in one of our newest barrios. There was a great turn out. We had some kids that led some singing and dancing from the city church, a puppet show, and a mime skit. Afterwards we played some games and then the kids enjoyed some awesome Hot Chocolate and received their own Panaton (Peruvian fruit cake). There were smiles all around!

Our 1st Ourdoor Service

We just had our first ourdoor service where we invited people from the barrios as well as the city church to come. We had an awesome turnout, about 250 people! We sang some songs with the help of the band from our church in the city, had communion, listened to a great sermon from Jamie and everyone got a Panaton, a traditional Christmas cake. The kids played some games with the help of Andres and Julianna and they each got their own Panaton. It was a great afternoon enjoyed by all!
